Some of Dr. Griffin's patients do not have insurance to pay for medical equipment that may be needed. It is generally better to obtain knee braces and other medical equipment directly from an orthotist who can properly fit and adjust the equipment to meet the individual patient's needs. However, due to cost concerns, some of Dr. Griffin's patients are sometimes unable to obtain needed equipment. We have therefore provided some links to equipment through Amazon.com that may be priced more reasonably than thru other sources. Again, these links are provided as a convenience to help locate equipment that might not otherwise be accessible. If equipment is purchased directly, the purchaser must realize that necessary adjustments may not be available...so buy at your own risk. When possible, it is better to buy through a professional who can properly adjust and instruct regarding the purchased equipment.
